Parents are expected, and invited, to involve
themselves in the life of the College community as fully as their family
circumstances allow. The family and the College form a partnership to make the
most of the learning opportunities offered to young people. Involvement in
College activities sends a very clear message to our children about the
priority we place on their education.
There are a variety of ways in which parents are
able to contribute to the College community and it is understood that family
and work circumstances will dictate the extent of involvement. Some of these
ways could include:
Joining the
Parents and Friends Association;
Attending Award
& Celebration evenings with your children;
Assisting in
Primary classrooms;
Attending Opening
Mass;
Offering your time
working at the College canteen.
The College often looks to engage with the wider
community through service projects and immersion experiences.
